Inaugural Lecture by Anna Harris

On the 24^th of October, Dr Anna Harris will be appointed professor of Anthropology and Medicine in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences with the delivery of an inaugural lecture.  

The lecture is titled “The matter of hospitals: an ethnographer investigates” and will take place in the Aula of Maastricht University at 16:30.  

All interested parties are invited to attend this ceremony. A reception will take place afterwards for which you can register until October 6^th 2025 by sending an email to makedomedicine-fasos@maastrichtuniversity.nl  

You are advised to park your car at the Vrijthof parking (Q-park) as parking in the vicinity of the Aula is very difficult.  

The inaugural lecture can also be followed through livestream. Please indicate if you wish to follow this event via the livestream in your registration email. You will receive a link no later than one week in advance.
