This year we were very fortunate to be involved in the Picture This program’s second round. In this fantastic collaboration, illustration students from Scotland are paired with researchers in our Faculty to create illustrations related to research projects. Last year we worked with Emma Aitken, who created some wonderful illustrations for the Clinical Tools catalogue Issue 1 (Education). This year we worked with Ella Cinjarevic, who created illustrations for Clinical Tools Issue 2 (Pandemic). Both times we found ourselves working out the project along the way with the illustrators. They helped us to understand what we were trying to show for example in our instructions, and raised issues about how to share creative work of others. It was an incredibly insightful experience and we are very happy to share some of their illustrations here, and in our publications.
